New Life New Rhythms

Life is funny. You follow God into whatever He has and in His infinate wisdom He lead where He wills. This can be challenging considering that He has a since of humor. My life has taken some unwanted and unnecessary turns. There has been more pain than expected and life has kicked my butt to be honest.

Here is the good thing! God is faithful through it all. What I have discovered is that even when life sucks God is still good. We can too easily assume that because life is not going the way we intend that God has failed to be faithful. His faithfulness is not directly connected to my current experience. We can forget that He works everything out for our good, not that everything will feel good.

What is the solution? Trust God. Trust Him in the winning moment and the losing ones. Trust God! He has our lives under control. he has not ceased to be God because our current situation is less than desireable. He is trustworthy. Case and point: Job. Job went through hell and his friends where trying to convince Job of his guilt. The harsh truth was that Job had not sinned, God allowed the moment so that Job could represent trust in the face of trial.

As for me, I am expreiencing a lot of "new" in my life. I realize that I am not in control of my life. I am merely His servent and I go where He says. So, its a new experience, with new people, in a new place, because...God. So, I embrace this new rhythm as I know who is guiding the ship. Either you trust God or you dont! In this new season I have chosen Trust.
